Stitching for me is very much a stress reliever. When I stitch, I enjoy sitting in my spot on the couch with my pin cushion handy and a glass of red wine or cold glass of beer. I have my favorite walmart pole lamp to light the way. It seems that I get most of my stitching done after the kids and The Husband go to bed. Is it a ritual? I don't know. I know I never feel completely myself if I don't get to stitch a little bit. Do you have any stitching rituals?

I like to stitch after everyone has gone to bed too, it's the best "me time" and it totally helps me relax after a long day.
ReplyDeleteStitching definitely is a good stress reliever at the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteYou are so brave! I will not put red wine anywhere near my stitching. I would so love to combine my wine and stitching though. :)
ReplyDeleteI also love to stith when the Hubs goes to bed, it is impossible to count stitched when he is awake LOL I put on my ratty pair of sweats and settle in on my corner of the couch. It is my "ME" time
